Lehmann had a night to forget as Villa crashed out of the FA Women's Cup fourth round on Saturday following a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Everton. Karoline Olesen opened the scoring for the Merseyside club before Katja Snoeijs netted a brace to seal a comprehensive win.

After the defeat, the Swiss star expressed her disappointment on social media as she took to Instagram and wrote: "Really hard and disappointing game today, focus on Friday from now on 🙏🏼".
Under the post, Lehmann's boyfriend and Aston Villa men's star Luiz left a supportive message as he wrote: "My girl ❤️".

The frustrating defeat on Saturday will surely dampen the confidence of Carla Ward's Villa side, who have had a difficult 2023-24 season so far. In the Women's Super League, they have managed to register only three wins from their first 10 matches and are just four points above rock-bottom side Bristol City.
